David Blunkett performs the turf cutting ceremony at Gibfield Park. Pictured with Mr. Blunkett are Andy Burnham, MP for Leigh, Charles Billson, Chairman of Developers Long Port Properties and John Hughes, Williams Tarr Business Development Director.
Williams Tarr are about to commence the construction of an office block on the site and a planning application is shortly to be submitted for a new 30,000 sq.ft. training centre for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
