Peter Presented with the Alternative World Cup Trophy!
14 June 2006
Peter Lees (a.k.a. OGS), of Jones Lang LaSalle, winner of the Williams Tarr Alternative World Cup tournament is presented with his trophy and a bottle of bubbly by Williams Tarr Director John Hughes (right).
Early in the competition, after a busy evening working online at home and spurred on with a glass (or two) of red wine, Peter notched up the winning score of 2350. Many others tried to beat him and several came within only 10 points of his superscore. A keen MUFC fan, Peter, pictured left, chose his nickname OGS after his hero Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, United's Norwegian sharpshooter who scored the winning goal in United's Champions League Final victory.
