Williams Tarr Financial Director, Chris Carter, Swims The Channel Again Almost 35 Years On

Veteran Swimmer Chris (pictured first left), who first swam the Channel in 1973 as a young and fit 25 year old, joined five other long standing members of Warrington Dolphins Long Distance Swimming Club who have also completed individual Channel Swims, forming a relay team to attempt the double crossing.
The team set off from Dover at 5.30 am on Saturday, 25th August and completed the crossing to Calais in 13 hours 06 minutes. The return swim to Dover was completed in 15 hours 48 minutes.
Congratulations to Chris and his team mates on completing the challenge and at the same time raising funds for Cancer Research UK.
