G & J Greenall – Still in Good Spirits

Williams Tarr has handed over two new Distillery buildings, a Bottling Plant and Distribution Centre to G & J Greenall, which have been built on a new site following the partial destruction of the former Causeway Distillery in a major fire.
This complex, fast-track project involved remodelling a former Industrial Business Unit at Risley, Warrington, to create a Spirits production facility, with the Client’s specialist manufacturing equipment being incorporated during the construction programme. In addition to new high tech equipment, several of the original copper Stills, dating back to the 1800’s, which survived the fire were carefully transported and re-installed in one of the new distilleries.
This facility, to produce and distribute Greenall’s world famous Vladivar Vodka and London Dry Gin, was handed over on time and on budget.
